Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Develop Proficiency: Learn and work on Java, Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise database systems.
  • Requirements Analysis & Planning: Assist senior engineers in requirement gathering, project planning, and client communication.
  • Collaboration: Work with enterprise data lake, BI, and data science teams to engineer scalable solutions.
  • Design & Development: Create Data Marts, de-normalized views, and ensure data quality control processes.
  • Capability Development: Continuously learn and contribute to new capabilities while adhering to company policies.

Key Technical Skills:

Java, Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure, Unix Shell Scripting, NoSQL Databases (HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra), GitHub, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, IBM DB2, MySQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Sqoop, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile/Scrum

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on experience in programming and database management.
  • Strong foundation in either Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and Unix Shell scripting.
  • Basic understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., GitHub).
  • Willingness to learn Big Data technologies, data warehousing concepts, and cloud environments.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
